Forced Perspective

1. What is the image of?
Two people in a desert.
2. How does this image use forced perspective?
Because it looks like the woman is being help up by the guy's foot.
3. How do you think they created this forced perspective?
By having the girl go farther away until she is far enough so it looks she's being held up by the guy.

4. How would you have created it?
I would've set up a tripod and have had the guy lay down while the woman moves back and focused on the guy.

5. How do you think line of sight, depth of field and distance affected the image?
The background really helped this photo because she could move far out and there isn't anything in the way.
1. What is the image of?
A person in a dinosaur costume and a man in a desert.
2. How does this image use forced perspective?
Because it looks like the person in the costume is going to be drop kicked by the guy to the right.
3. How do you think they created this forced perspective?
By having the man on the right run and jump behind the dinosaur to make it look like he's closer.

4. How would you have created it?
I would've had the dinosaur stand closer to the camera than the man and have the guy walk a few feet away and have him run up and jump and get a picture.

5. How do you think line of sight, depth of field and distance affected the image?
They made it look like as if the man in the back was actually closer and about kick the dinosaur.
1. What is the image of?
This picture is of the Lincoln memorial in Washington DC.
2. How does this image use forced perspective?
Because this person used a 5$ bill and laid it out so it looks the same.
3. How do you think they created this forced perspective?
They folded the bill in half and walked in front of the memorial and lay the bill out in front so the other half looks even.

4. How would you have created it?
I wouldve just set my camera up in front of the memorial and folded my $5 bill and laid it out so it looks even.

5. How do you think line of sight, depth of field and distance affected the image?
Well the background was the main purpose of the photo because the $5 bill completed the photo the photographer was trying to convey.
1. What is the image of?
Hot air balloons in Albuquerque New Mexicos Balloon Fiesta.
2. How does this image use forced perspective?
Because the photographer has it look like they're holding the hot air balloon.

3. How do you think they created this forced perspective?
They waited for the balloons to take off and had their fingers placed on where a balloon was and took the picture.

4. How would you have created it?
I would have just waited for the balloons to take off and have my hands on a balloon so it looks like I'm holding one.
5. How do you think line of sight, depth of field and distance affected the image?
The distance between the photographer and the balloons really made a difference because it let them put their hands up so it looks as if they're actually holding a balloon.
